A leading live events company is looking for an Events Programming Coordinator to join its Producing team.  You will bring your organisational and project management skills to support  the successful running of an exciting range of tours and one-off shows.

In this role, you will project manage the full spectrum of live events, supporting event producers with availability checking, booking venues, and analysing & negotiating contract terms. Successful candidates will possess a high level of numeracy, and be confident with setting and managing event budgets. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Project and Budget Management: general administration, venue research and collection of avails, routing tours, drafting show budgets, offers, projections and settlements, and confirming shows with venues and internal stakeholders. 
  • Cross-departmental collaboration: work closely with colleagues in programme management and marketing teams.
  • Venue Management: review and negotiate contract terms with venues. Ensure the accurate implementation of ticketing processes, and signing off ticketing manifests. Regularly review ticket sales to guide adjustments to promotional plans. 

This role requires a good understanding of the event industry or tour/event management. It may suit someone with previous experience working in a booking or promoter role within the creative industries, including a venue / festival environment. 

Experience and skills required:

  • Prior experience routing and booking live events, understanding how to work with event budgets and negotiate contracts.
  • Strong numerical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  • Able to work independently and with an adaptable approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
