Do you have strong, hands-on experience working in book production? Are you confident handling a worldwide supplier and customer base?

A well established and growing, independent trade publishing company, seeks a knowledgeable Production Controller to join their dynamic production team. 

In this role, you will manage the scheduling and production of a range of trade titles across Adult colour non-fiction and Children’s books. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Supplier liaisons: Working a global supplier base to ensure full and accurate orders for production and delivery.
• File Preparation: Working with the Pre-Press Operations Manager in preparing files for print production.
• Schedule Management: Ensuring deliveries are made on time, handling rescheduling and ensuring internal teams are kept updated. 

An ideal candidate would be detail-oriented and calm under pressure, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and Biblio. Knowledge of co-edition printing would be desirable. 

Salary: c. £30-32k DOE + benefits 

Location: Central London (Hybrid)
