A fast-growing London-based global speaker and event agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team in a newly created role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering ongoing partnerships.

In this fantastic new role, you will build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, source and book appropriate speakers for their events, and manage all aspects of the process from contract negotiation to post-event follow-up and account growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, becoming their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to expand business with existing clients, identifying their additional needs and proposing solutions.
  • Effectively manage client expectations, ensuring clear communication and timely response to inquiries.

Speaker Sourcing and Booking

  • Thoroughly understand client event objectives and audience needs to identify suitable speakers.
  • Negotiate contracts with speakers and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.

Project Management

  • Manage the team’s (2 direct reports) deadlines and priorities.
  • Ensure that processes and work management systems are being used effectively.

Business Development

  • Actively seek new business opportunities, participating in industry events and networking initiatives.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract new clients.
  • Contribute to the agency’s overall business goals and growth.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Passionate about current affairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40-50k DOE + Commission

Location: London

Work Pattern: 4 days in the office
