Who are we?
We are a London based recruitment, development and learning organisation. Working within publishing, media and entertainment industries we endeavor to do things a bit more . . . wonderfully.
Our approach stems from decades of experience in roles from entry level (think Production Assistants) to senior executive (Managing Director and Publisher). Working across multiple departments and at all levels we learnt a lot, most importantly how we would do things better.
We started Wonderful Recruitment & Development because we wanted to be the partner, for hiring managers, candidates and employees, that we never had. We built our business on three simple principles:
- Talented people inspire us. Talent is not limited by industry, background or socio-economic factors, so we aren’t either! Talent is at its best when it’s recognised, nurtured and supported every step of the way. We believe in connecting talented people with great businesses to help each be the best they can be.
- The experience will be better. We are obsessed with delivering (not just promising) tangible and measurable improvements in service for our clients, candidates and participants.
- We build partnerships. We are uncompromising in our belief that mutually beneficial, long-term relationships are the most successful and gratifying. Building trust and respect is an essential part of this.

It was interesting seeing how everyone interacted with each other and how everyone worked well as little teams despite the fact we were all put with people we wouldn’t usually work with. It was nice to hear other people’s opinions and to get an idea of what was important to the other members of staff when it comes to the future of the company. Hopefully it will help shape the company into a place we all want to work and turn it into a company we are all proud of.
